Peter C. Thompson is a principal partner and co-founder of
Rubicon Partners, Inc. Peter serves as CEO and President of Rubicon Partners,
Inc. Since its founding in 2001, Rubicon Partners has developed, acquired
and managed over 1.1 million square feet of property in the Sacramento area and
has successfully completed over $180M in development projects.
Prior to forming Rubicon Partners, Peter served as a
Corporate Officer and Senior Vice President for the Sacramento region of
Spieker Properties, Inc. where he was responsible for the development,
acquisition and management of more than 4.0 million square feet of office and
industrial buildings in more than 50 properties in the Sacramento metropolitan
area. Under his leadership, the region grew its asset base from $170
million to over $390 million. Peter was part of the management team that
successfully completed Spieker's initial public offering in 1993. At the
time of its merger with Equity Office Properties, Spieker was the second
largest publicly traded office REIT in the country and the tenth largest public
REIT overall.
Peter received a Bachelor
of Science from the University of California at San Diego and a Master of
Business Administration from Stanford University. He holds a seat on the
Board of Directors of Lambda Alpha and served on the board Sacramento Area Commerce and Trade Organization for eight years.
Kipp
L. Blewett is a principal partner and co-founder of Rubicon Partners, Inc. and serves
as CFO of the company. Prior to
co-founding the firm, Kipp served as a Corporate Officer and Vice President for
the Sacramento Region of Spieker Properties, Inc.
Upon
joining Spieker Properties in 1996, Kipp was responsible for the development,
acquisition and management of more than 1.5 million square feet of office and
industrial property in more than 30 properties in the Sacramento metropolitan
area. Prior to joining Spieker, Kipp worked in Citicorp's Real Estate
Investment Banking Group in New York City.
Kipp received a Bachelor of Science in Real Estate Finance from the University
of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from
Duke University. He is currently
on the Board of Directors for the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce and
serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Downtown Sacramento
Partnership. Kipp was also
recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the Sacramento Convention and
Visitors (CVB).
Kipp
served on the Board of Directors for the Sacramento Children's Home for six (6)
years.
